It’s true that many of the campaign missions seem impossible at first, and you are often at a great disadvantage compared to your AI opponents. Now I’ve played through this game for at least 50 times and I’m still obsessed with it.

I’ve been playing this game since it first came out! Best in its series in my opinion. It really does feel like a game that is of computer gaming quality without the price and can be carried around. Compared to games like Panzercorps, this one has less content but definetly makes up in its cheap price. The ai can be pretty overwhelming for new players thus, it will take some playthroughs to get used to the game. Using your money would greatly increase your chances of winning by getting extra money. The game for me at some points felt like a play to win. To me, there are not many bad things about this game but must be addressed. Another good feature about this game is the dialogue of historically accurate people of the time. There is no attack and defend and hope you win. The strategies that are needed really test you on your skills and require you to think about your forces and the enemy's forces. This game has many interesting things that I really appreciated such as custom unit skins for the major countries which really added to the authenticity of the game.
